CAD Programmer Engineer Jobs description
A CAD programmer engineer works in coordination with the CAD manager to apply the definitions and development of design processes. A CAD programmer engineer performs tool development related to CAD activities. A CAD programmer engineer identifies and troubleshoots CAD software problems and works on the improvement and development of CAD process and automatic processes by applying new techniques available through CAD software. A CAD programmer engineer should be apt at drawing and design office practice, preparing design using model master or DMU principles, configuration control and document management. A CAD programmer engineer performs programming in Visual Basic to integrate AutoCAD and other database and office applications and creates design automation software for AutoCAD. A CAD programmer engineer performs migration or validation of S5 to S6.A CAD programmer engineer should be technically skilled at web development, AutoCAD development and system documentation, Visual Basic or VB Script or Database Programming with experience in CAD and extensive process design and development, Autodesk REVIT and Architectural Desktop.
