CAD Design Engineer Jobs description
A CAD design engineer works in coordination with engineers to realize concept drawings into useful component drawings. A CAD design engineer is responsible for all the activities that consist of drawing which also includes 3D models, detailed drawing, BOM creation and engineering changes. A CAD design engineer is responsible for creating 2D manufacturing drawings. A CAD design engineer works with the design engineer to produce tooling designs for in-house manufacture of product. A CAD design engineer is responsible for preparation and maintenance of the bill of the materials and their related documentation. A CAD design engineer has to interact with suppliers for preparation of drawings and part specifications. A CAD design engineer works with the design engineer to create concept models. A CAD should be highly skilled in generating innovative concepts. A CAD design engineer should be well conversant with component level designs.A CAD design engineer should possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering with experience in CAD design. A CAD design engineer should possess strong communication skills and should be well versed with MS Office.
