Do you have a passion streamlining processes to bring new productivity in the silicon development process to design teams? We are looking for an operationally minded individual to join our team responsible for delivering the latest EDA tool capabilities to the silicon teams within Microsoft. As part of this position you would help organize the day-to-day rhythm of EDA work for the broader silicon teams. Coordinating vendor issues, schedules, and internal deliverables to achieve silicon success
Forecasting and tracking license & compute usage, maintaining budget
EDA application engineer coordination, security posture maintenance, and IP contract coordination.
Coordinating external and internal EDA training and internal documentation generation.
Minimum of BS 5 or MS 5 majoring in electrical or computer engineering.
Preferred technical background in various aspects of silicon physical design experience.
Operational management skills to drive complex software engineering flows from concept to deployment.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
