CAD Mixed Signal Simulation Engineer

Profile

As a CAD Mixed Signal Simulation Engineer, you will develop and support analog mixed-signal design flows across multiple product lines and technology nodes. You will work closely with design teams on automation and support of the simulation environment, as well as a regular partnership with the foundry team on spice modeling activities.
Responsibilities
Work with EDA providers to drive improvements and bug fixes to improve Cirrus Logic's design flow
Drive consensus across business units on tool & design methodology
Verify CAD flows are generating correct results (flow sign-off)
Determine sign-off criteria; work with technology and design teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
MSEE, ECE or CE (or related STEM degree) and 8 years of experience in design CAD or EDA tools support
Proven experience with Spectre analog simulation, SOA check and ADE environment
Strong experience with mixed-signal simulation flow using AMS Designer
Strong experience with Cadence OA environment
Experience working with revision control systems
Ability to work in a demanding, team-oriented environment
Solid understanding in CMOS analog processes combined with experience in testing and validating spice models
Good communication skills and work well in a team environment
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Experience with other simulators is a plus
Experience working with Perforce
Experience in behavioral modeling using Verilog-A and Verilog-AMS
Experience in analog regression
Experience in EMIR
This position is located in Austin, TX
This is a hybrid remote position and will follow a 2 day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preferences. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate before beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
