We are looking for a motivated CAD designer and GIS professional to join our team. We provide hydrogeological and environmental consulting services for the industrial manufacturing and shale gas markets in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. We are looking for someone with a desire and aptitude to learn and apply new techniques and be comfortable with deadline-oriented projects while working as part of a multi-discipline design team.
Your responsibilities will include preparing and submitting regulatory documents to both the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) as well as other state agencies through varying stages of remedial investigation. Some of the responsibilities include: developing appropriate permits needed for completion of projects in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation E-Permitting process; assist in preparation of documentation utilizing ArcGIS and AutoCAD to support wetland reports for agency review and permitting based on delineation and monitoring data collected in the field; and assisting in design, site grading, implementation, installation and oversight of multistage remediation projects including groundwater pump and treat and soil vapor recovery remediation systems. Some field work will be required as well.
5-10 years' experience in environmental consulting
Associates degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or Geographic Information Systems or a related discipline
AutoCAD 2016 or more recent
Autodesk Civil 3D
ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ARC GIS Online
Knowledge of global positioning systems (GPS) use and survey processes
Familiarity with various types of survey equipment and on-site layout experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills
40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER training is a definite plus
