Product Graphic Designer (Equipment Design)
Our client, a leader in the Apparel industry, is currently seeking an Product Graphic Designer
for a 3 month temporary position
with the opportunity for an extension. The position is located in Beaverton, OR.

As a Product Graphic Designer 2 in Equipment Design (including Socks, Bags, Global Football Equipment), you will bring to life the seasonal category creative narrative through exceptional and innovative graphic design. Working directly with design management, youâ€™ll gain dynamic experience, enhance design skills, and increase knowledge of design philosophy, products, and processes. Youâ€™ll be on the cutting edge of current trends, color, technology, and sports-related products through research and travel. This designer has experience effectively creating hand-drawn illustration, typography, and graphics. Understanding of graphic placement on 3D surface and a variety of technical materials is critical. Creating the new look of Modern Sport through its apparel graphics and looks for graphic designers who exemplify a different perspective on placement, scaling and use a blend of fashion and streetwear aesthetic.
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
4-5 years relevant work experience in Graphic Design
Connection to sport and sport style trends
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
Experience creating graphics that are industry leading, trend-right and that consistently incorporate consumer/athlete insights through powerful storytelling, emotional connectivity and relevance
Demonstrates understanding of consumer; produce presentation materials in conjunction with design and category teams that effectively communicate the concept behind the line for internal and external audiences
Proficient ability to apply and perform graphic design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing, and scale, visual presentation development and layout that is supported by a portfolio of non-computer-based creative art and graphic design
Uses advanced design skills to create original graphic and/or textile designs that appropriately reflect companyâ€™s design ethos
Understands and presents design concepts; produces presentation materials in conjunction with design and category teams that effectively communicate the concept behind the line for internal and external audiences
Computer literate using Macintosh computer design applications
Understanding of Print Application Process; Screen Printing and Digital Print
Product Graphic Design
Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator,
Print Application Process: Screen Printing & Digital Print
3D execution a plus
