Electrical Designer to complete design assignments of limited complexityunder the general supervision of a Design Supervisor or Lead Designer.The Designer is responsible for initiating and developing engineering drawings, of moderate complexity, through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project's discipline engineers.
6 years of progressive design experience in electrical systems.
Must have in working knowledge of SmartPlant 3D, SmartSketch and SmartPlant Electrical.
Must have experience in design development, drawing preparation, and checking processes.
Must have in depth knowledge of Microsoft Access.
Must have experience of performing lighting calculations with Visual Lighting software.
Must have a basic understanding of engineering calculations and information required on design drawings.
Must have experience in performing electrical Material Take Off (MTO) activities
Must have experience in project change control.
Must have U.S. Citizenship.
Must not have Dual Citizenship.
Associates Degree in computer aided drafting with an electrical emphasis or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of Autodesk software including AutoCAD, REVIT, and AutoCAD Plant 3D or other general plant modeling/drafting CAD software platform.
Working knowledge and experience in using cable management systems and automatic cable routing.
Experience in using SmartPlant Instrumentation.
