Field Service Specialist

As an entry level position, the primary role for this position will be to learn the install, service, engineering and sales roles at Honeywell. You will be required to participate onsite by providing install assistance with supervision from others, help engineer software and graphics, checkout control systems, start up and commission systems and fine tune their operations as per customer requirements and or job specifications for HVAC Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, Security CCTV and Card Access Systems and Fire Alarm Systems. In addition, you will participate in service activities with other service team members providing service to our valued customers. Responsibilities include:
With supervision, perform basic installation methods, startup, checkout and commissioning.
With supervision, develop computer graphics and create AutoCAD Drawings.
Assist the engineering team on pre-engineering and estimate preparation, graphic generation, and develop engineering documents.
With supervision, work with service team members in providing services to our customers.
Keep all project documentation and paperwork up to date.
Learn the industry and products Honeywell offers to its customers by on the job training, on-line training and formal class room training.
Troubleshoot hardware & software issues; make changes to meet specific requirements.
Understand electrical circuitry, construction environments and safe work practices.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, mechanical and control drawings.
Able to work flexible hours to accommodate project and client requirements.
Inspect for Quality

Provide Customer Support
YOU MUST HAVE
Associate\u2019s Degree or, in lieu of a degree, 2 years of related industry experience.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to climb ladders, lift up-to 35 pounds.
Associate\u2019s or Technical Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science or HVAC.
Computer system diagnostics and troubleshooting aptitude.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Experience in programming/installing/commissioning computer control systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team and independent environment.
Experience with IP, networking and wireless technologies.
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
