The Creative Learning Services Team is responsible for working with Media Networks, Parks Experiences and Consumer Products, Studio Entertainment, Direct-To-Consumer and International - to plan and development learning content solutions. Graphic Designers, Developers, Digital Media specialists are responsible for collaborating with partners from the Organizational and Talent Solutions Center of Excellence and the Segments to provide design consultation and creative. Additionally, this team is responsible for the sustainment and enhancements of existing products.
The Graphic Designer role is accountable for the creation of visual media and brand related materials/assets for all mediums of learning solutions including: in-person experiences for the Enterprise, platforms (D Learn, D Achieve, Leadership Speaker Series Site), digital media, marketing and communications of these products, etc. Examples of materials developed by this individual range from participant guides, presentations, branding, graphical user interfaces, usability design, infographics, iconography, etc. This individual is responsible for providing expertise and consultation to Executive Leadership, Leadership at the manager level, and Custom Learning products for the Segments.

Understand and visually translate design research and learning trends to learning solutions
Consult and collaborate with partners on interpreting design needs and translating into effective visually engaging solutions
Develop and maintain branding and visual language
Sharing creative direction to intern graphic designers
Prepare mock-ups, concept art, and wire frames for early stage approvals
Ensure the Disney brand is reflected in all materials through creativity and quality
Manage project timelines and status updates with partners
Present concepts by showcasing your process, how you approached creative problem solving, and the intent behind design choices to internal project partners, clients, and stakeholders
Check final documents and proofs for errors and make necessary corrections
Represent the department in the role of a design consultant when called upon to advise clients on potential options, timelines, deadline considerations, and risks
Write content to support graphics
Consult as needed with internal partners, vendors, content team to assist with developing and designing prototypes and proposals for print and web media.
Minimum of 3 years as a Graphic Designer
Strong technical skills with the following programs: Adobe InDesign; Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator; Microsoft PowerPoint; Keynote
Working knowledge of web development, code, and motion graphics
Understanding of user experience and usability within graphical user interfaces, email communications, digital marketing ads, etc.
Demonstrates a high working knowledge of composition, color, typeface selection, and fundamentals of design.
Proficient in the printing processes and working with print vendors
Ability to design graphical imagery to compliment content and explain instructional concepts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms
Ability to quickly comprehend new technologies and processes
Quickly learn and grasp new software
Good judgment and decision-making skills (ability to consider partners needs and benefits of potential solutions).
Strong organization skills and management of works in queue
Strong writing skills
Visual online portfolio required
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
