The Avalex CAD Designer
provides professional CAD design support to all Engineering Disciplines for designs of cutting-edge display, mission, mapping, and EO/IR Camera hardware products starting with conception, going through prototyping and providing production support, ensuring the highest levels of quality and on time delivery.
As an Avalex CAD Designer
, you will:
Assist engineers with the mechanical design and development of Avalex products using AutoDesk Inventor CAD tools
Create and/or update mechanical part fabrication and assembly technical drawing packages
Create and/or update cable assembly drawings
Create and/or update PCB outline drawings
Assist with the design and development of internal test fixturing and/or test cables
Read, understand, create and/or update technical documents
Proactively identify new or improved design, fabrication and/or assembly concepts for products
Proactively use CAD designer skills to ensure quality products
Accept assigned tasks and take ownership for completion on time
If your experience, skill set and knowledge meet the following qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of CAD vocational or certificate program required
Experience using AutoDesk Inventor CAD tools
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be detail oriented, well organized and possess excellent follow up skills
Must be self motivated, able to multitask and work independently
Must be proficient in modern desktop office software applications
