Sulzer Chemtech is seeking a Drafter for our Tulsa, OK facility.
The drafter is responsible for preparing shop detail drawings for shop fabrication of mass transfer equipment in accordance with drawings already certified by customers.
Prepares shop detail drawings of mass transfer equipment, primarily using Computer Aided Design (CAD) drafting systems, although manual drawings or sketches are sometimes required.
Prepares the bill of materials (BOM) of parts, materials and hardware quantities required for the project.
Reviews and incorporates, as appropriate changes or corrections to the drawings.
Education and Experience:
Technical degree in CAD systems or Mechanical Drafting. Associate of Arts degree in drafting or CAD technology training/certification. Un-finished Bachelors in Mechanical career or certification as Mechanical designer.
Proficient with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
0-5 years of mechanical drafting experience required.
Basic knowledge in manufacturing and sheet metal fabrication processes (Desirable).
Required Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in geometry and trigonometry as required in the calculation of angles, areas, weights and volumes.
Ability in the use of AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Ability in the use and conversion between metric and English units.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
Proficient in the use of personal computers, as well as peripherals.
This position will not require regular business travel
