Position Title: Graphic Designer
FLSA Status: Non – Exempt, Hourly – Full time
Reports to: Marketing Director
Summary of the Job: Works directly with the Marketing Director to create campaigns, reports, presentations, print ads, and many other expressions of the Southside brand. The created design will be utilized through many channels including live events, broadcast media, digital platforms, social media, operations, internal communications, and more. The nature of this role’s work is a combination of both production design and creative development.

Four- year Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
Professional experience in graphic design and/or recent graduate with Bachelor’s degree.
Highly skilled within the Adobe Creative Suite.
Understands how to prepare and package art files for industry standard production.
Experience with video / motion graphics or photography is a plus.
Fluently works in Mac OS.
Strong oral and written communicator.
Has worked with or directed other creatives.
Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers. Works with fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
Ability to lift 20-30lb paper boxes.
Required work location at Tyler, TX office.
