Position Summary Under the general direction of the Director of Facilities Planning, Design & Construction, the occupant of this position provides a high level of technical services for the compiling, creating and editing of building floorplans in CAD formats. The individual will integrate ACAD software with CAD drawings to format data for upload into the FAMIS Space Management System. Additionally the process requires a reconciliation of CAD spaces and the spaces in the FAMIS table for seamless submittal and joining of data. This position is expected to last one year. Required Qualifications u20222 years work experience with AutoCAD 2015 or newer u2022Well versed using Microsoft Excel u2022Demonstrated ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints u2022Excellent communication skills u2022Maintain QA/QC processes and requirements Preferred Qualifications u2022Associates/Bacheloru2019s Degree in drafting or related IT field preferred u2022Experience in space management, planning, or design of buildings. u2022Experience with Orthograph software u2022Experience measuring buildings and entering into CAD u2022Knowledge of FAMIS or similar space information systems.
