Description:
Responsible for designing products using computer-aided design software applications such as Pro/ENGINEER and AutoCAD.
Responsibilities:
Prepare production drawings using AutoCAD and assist Engineers in the design of new products or product improvements.
Maintain Engineering files to the company’s ISO standards.
Manage online drawing requests and interact with customers through email or telephone.
Create detailed design documentation.
Reduce costs of product by new design or redesign.
Define, create and maintain development methodologies, procedures and standards.
Write/route Engineering Change Requests and/or Engineering Change Notices to Engineering and other personnel.
Produce final design specifications.
Knowledge of Tolerance Stack-ups and GD&T.
Design Problem solving skills and manufacturability problem solving skills.

Requirements
Associate Degree with 1-3 years experience is required, Bachelor’s with 3-5 years experience is preferred.
Excellent computer skills to include MS Office and AutoCAD.  Knowledge of Pro/E a plus.
Flexibility-dealing with more than one project at a time;
Ability to meet deadlines; dependable and self-directed;
Capable of working in team environment;
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
