This position is responsible for supporting the Power Systems CAD environment and integration in the Product Lifecycle Management (Windchill) program. The successful candidate’s primary interface will be with Product Drafters, Designers and Engineers. The successful candidate will support current production CAD/CDM/Visualization daily request, large upgrade projects (e.g. Creo 4.0) and training.
Broad and deep knowledge of CAD design and CAD data management.
High level understanding of the relationships that exist between the models and drawings created using CAD authoring tools.
High level competency working with Creo Parametric and Windchill PDMLink.
Awareness of Electrical CAD data from tools such as Creo Schematics, AutoCAD Electrical and Zuken would be beneficial.
Working knowledge of PLM systems and dependent applications downstream of PLM.
Experience working across multiple functions and teams.
Familiarity with the Product Design, Drafting and Release processes used in an engineering environment.
Experience developing and delivering training material.
Experience resolving daily CAD issues or requests from the business.

Skills and Experience Required:
Issue Management - Aware of the steps to develop and manage change, including issues and risks, for a project.Scope Management - Solicits and organizes customer requirements (Voice of the Customer), and tracks the status of project deliverables. Uses a Value Package Profile (VPP) or other appropriate scope-defining document, and manages change. Manages the connections between multiple levels of scope detail in related additional documents (e.g. Tech Profiles or equivalent documents).Schedule Management - Develops and maintains a cross-functional schedule. Proficient at one or more schedule management tools. Knows the right level of detail needed to use the tool effectively. Stakeholder Management And Communication - Identifies, engages and manages stakeholders on a project or groups of projects. Overcomes obstacles and resistance among stakeholders. Effectively stratifies stakeholder needs and creates and executes communications plans to fit the unique needs of each type of stakeholder.Resource Plan Management - Aware of the steps to develop and manage a cross-functional resource plan for a project.Business Planning/Strategy - Familiar with tools for financial analysis and its relevance. Knows when, where, and how to get assistance.Cross-Functional Knowledge - Understands the basic high-level tasks for each functional area on a project.
Project Risk Management - Understands the basics of risk identification, analysis, and mitigation.
Experience with CAD Administration.
Significant experience with CAD and data management tools such as Creo and Windchill preferred.
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
College, University or equivalent degree required.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
