The Graphic Designer will develop innovative and creative branding elements with a focus on designing printed marketing materials. This Graphic Designer position will create smart, beautiful, impactful, and compelling design and graphics across all media and will also work directly with Senior Art Directors/Senior Graphic Designers and Creative Directors to repurpose designs and build out layout mechanicals for print vendors and publications. The Graphic Designer translates marketing objectives into user experiences that are emotionally engaging and consumer friendly with an emphasis on website, social, media, print, digital, interactive, and mobile application. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Creates inspiring, strategic, and innovative ideas and presents creative solutions to ensure design meets the business objectives and remains on-brand. • Collaborates with creative team members to determine the layout, visual appearance, and usability of creative solutions to ensure alignment with the creative brief and target market. • Develops branding elements, including digital, outdoor, print, social media, collateral and promotional materials, and in-store signage from concept to pre-press to production. • Collaborates with the creative team to develop and implement design solutions and to ensure successful representation of the brand across all media. • Creates conceptual layouts in accordance with design principles for the brand, elements, and usability. • Collaborates with the creative team to develop and implement design solutions and to ensure successful representation of the brand across all media. • Coordinates creative activities to ensure stakeholder's requirements are met on time and within budget while aligning with the creative brief criteria, brand guidelines, and design standards • Monitors the timing, integrity, and quality of deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously from inception through the creative process to the execution of all materials. • Collaborates with the creative team and stakeholders to create interactive art and videos • Develops, refines, and recommends enhancements for the creative platform for Web. • Provides conceptual layouts with the use of graphics based on pre-determined guidelines and formats. • Provides design and graphic support for marketing and Web initiatives • Evaluates a brand's visual languageacross a range of media. • Establishes the conceptual and stylistic execution for projects and campaigns to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and design standards. • Creates storyboards by identifying the range of elements to be used, the story to be told, etc. • Directs and/or assists with photo shoots, video production, location visits, and other stages of the creative development or production process. • Documents stylistic rules appropriate for the brand, the medium, and the audience, including color palette, typography, and logo-wordmark guidelines. • Performs print production tasks, including but not limited to downloading files, Photoshop, and preparing files for print and color correction. • Documents work in a timely manner and within proper archival protocol for team accessnnJob RequirementsnQUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's Degree Design, art, marketing, or other related field of study • 2 years' Experience graphic design, marketing, and/or advertising 1 years' Experience in varied media (e.g., digital, social, print, broadcast, etc.) • Pre-press and production experience • Exceptional portfolio that showcases creativity, visual skills, high graphic standards, and solid conceptual, color and layout skills through static, dynamic, and interactive media • Experience creating marketing collateral, aids, Web, and print graphics • Typographical and color theory skills Required • Retail, restaurant, food, or beverage experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop • Online and social media fluency (e.g., eCommerce, websites, blogs, etc.) • Knowledge of visual and digital design principles • Knowledge of the pre-press production process, including knowledge of graphic/image preparation for print and online • Knowledge of the graphic and functional aspects of Web and application design • Knowledge of layout, color, grids, icons, typography, proportion, photography, motion/rich media, and brand to create elegant, smart solutions and high-quality deliverables • Knowledge of print production, including color separations, font, and proper file preparation • Knowledge of the latest design and photography trends and ability to find ways to adapt these into strategic designs within the organization's brand • Ability to create and edit video for Web, email, applications, and social media • Ability to convey clear, concise information in verbal, written, electronic, and other communication formats; and to demonstrate active listening while engaging others • Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support • Ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of stakeholders (e.g., internal and external customers, etc.) in a timely manner • Ability to work under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines and quality standards are met in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires attention to detail and big picture thinking; and to effectively prioritize work • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with seasoned creative and marketing teams • Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through assessing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines;
