The Behavior Technician I practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a non-certified Behavior Consultant supervised by a BCBA. The Behavior Technician I is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans within the treatment plan developed by the supervisor.

A bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or human services field, a bachelor’s degree in a non- behavioral health or human services field with at least one year of full-time paid work experience with children and/or adolescents, or an associate’s degree with at least three years of full-time paid work experience with children and/or adolescents.
Must have valid driver’s license and qualify for Wellspan driving privileges. Must obtain PA drivers’ license in accordance with PA laws if license upon hire is out-of-state.
