Graphic Designer , Whirlpool Creative Studios Shopper/Co-Marketing Marketing Team
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s in-house creative agency is seeking a Graphic Designer to design and execute a range of integrated shopper marketing campaigns and in-store co-marketing established concepts across the Whirlpool portfolio of brands including Jenn-Air, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Maytag and Amana. Projects vary in scope and may include, but are not limited to:
In-store POP, displays and promotional materials
Marketing collateral/product catalogs
Sales kits/training materials
Digital marketing content
Delivers flawless execution and timely turn-around of multiple projects of varying scope and complexity with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Understands brand style guides and retailer requirements and designs visual communications that are consistent in tone and content for both across various creative elements.
Digests and organizes large amounts of information and develops visual solutions that simplify messages for shoppers and drive action at the moment of purchase
Develops and utilizes templated designs that streamline execution and create consistency across brand and retailer communication
Successfully incorporates feedback and direction from creative lead, cross-functional collaborators, business partners, and legal reviewers.
Collaborates with Art Director and Copywriter as needed to ensure design and copy work together to effectively achieve desired communication and design intent.
Supports ACD as needed with various design deliverables for presentations and special projects.
Works closely with Account Lead/Project Manager and utilize workflow tools to manage timelines and deliverables.
Partners with Production Manager to define production specs and ensure that files are built appropriately and final assets are delivered flawlessly.
Demonstrates passion for learning the brand’s business objectives, channel-specific requirements, retail trends and the consumer journey.
Portfolio of work will be requested during the interview process
2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer in design agency and/or corporate environment.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat)
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, advertising, marketing communications, or design-related field
Prior experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to evolving deadlines and deliverables
Ability to work quickly, efficiently and independently on quick-turn projects
Capable of considering multiple inputs and feedback from creative, production and brand team partners and translating them into fresh creative solutions
Strong communication skills, able to confidently present ideas supported strategic rationale
Collaborative contributor with proactive, problem-solving approach
In tune with current marketing, retail, lifestyle and design trends and innovations
