Our displays provide vital travel information in airports and train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas, store specials, an more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectators experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the major leagues.

Daktronics is looking for a well-rounded, creative, and tech savvy person with experience in Graphic Design, Marketing/Sales, and Software including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Indesign. This individual will contribute to the success of our social media platforms, website, and promotions. The ideal candidate will also have great writing and grammar skills. One year of related experience is desired, and the individual will be working in house at our facility.

Work Hours: Part time schedule during normal business hours.
* Assist with design of promotional assets, proposals, mailings, website advertisements, etc.
* Create and prepare designs, visual concepts, layouts, graphics, images and content.
* Respond to general design inquiries such as logo requests, re-sizing needs and general formatting.
* Creatively use existing graphic styles to design a variety of campaign design needs.
* Identify the need to produce new promotional assets or to revise existing assets.
* Work and communicate effective as a team member, work with little supervision, help when and where needed, and make suggestion for process and product improvements.
* Establish and maintain a thorough understanding of Daktronics products, as well as those of competitors.
* Follow company guidelines and policies.
* Maintain good attendance and work hours needed to complete responsibilities.
* Effectively perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.


Associatess degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, or Graphic Design. Other degrees will be considered.
Computer skills. Advanced user of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Good design and creativity skills.
Stay current on industry marketing trends.
Understanding of digital photography and four-color printing process.
Writing and proof-reading skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work quickly and accurately, often under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
Well organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Fluent in English, written and verbal.
Background check may be conducted.
