The Clinical Engineer – Complaint Investigator
provides customers with appropriate clinical and technical support and performs the customer experience investigation for our line of World-Class Medical Device Products worldwide. As a part of this, the Complaint Investigator is performing thorough, analytical, and timely investigations of device complaints in accordance with Company policy, FDA regulations and regulations of other governmental agencies, as applicable This will require you to work closely with Cyberonics sales and case management field teams in ensuring customers and patients receive appropriate clinical and technical support on Cyberonics devices, including training for medical professionals. Utilize your strong interpersonal skills and aptitude to be a team player; setting a professional tone and establishing a cooperative partnership within the department and other areas of the Company is the key to your success.
As a Complaint Investigator
, at Cyberonics, you will have the ability to learn everything there is to know about our Class III Implantable Medical Devices in a hands-on, live and interactive environment. Working as a cross-functional team, the Clinical Support department is divided into two groups, Technical Support and Complaint Investigations. Our Complaint Investigators
are part of an elite methodological team, responsible for utilizing their technical knowledge and experience to provide answers relating to clinical indications, contraindications, warnings and general clinical or technical guidance as related to VNS Therapy.
What it takes to be a part of the team at Cyberonics:
Ideally, Complaint Investigators
will have 2 years of experience in a technical environment within the healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical industries. A BS degree in engineering or life science is preferred. Top Complaint Investigators will already possess experience working in a regulated field in a complaint investigative role.
