GoDaddy is currently seeking a Senior Social Media Motion Graphics and Visual Designer (Social Creative Lead) to ideate and execute on photo selection, image creation, stop-motion video, and video editing across GoDaddys social presencefor a global organization.
The candidate should have a proven track record in designing world-class creative for brands across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest and Twitter. While demonstrating a solid knowledge around each platforms functionalities and a deep passion for telling stories across the social space, they should also demonstrate success in creating a multi-media mix of social creative, across a portfolio of brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and execution of GoDaddys social assets, in the U.S.
Image selection from stock photography and the Global Content Library
Stop-motion video tells stories that move
Video editing optimizes larger pieces for shorter, social-focused posts
Color floods align with the brand book and enhance all photography and video
Content is designed to support Icons of our Tribe, The Garage and GoAcademy posts, campagins, events, and all ads
Develop creative concepts and treatments
Responsible for the ideation, feedback, and insight across GoDaddys global social programs
Responsible for ensuring that GoDaddy has a social content set that drives all four key components of social buzz: sentiment, engagement, mentions, and impressions
Actively participate in the ideation phase of campaign brainstorming, ensuring that the best big ideas bubble up, with social in mind
Incorporate design feedback from key stakeholders to finalize social assets for distribution
Remain up to speed on all industry trends, and stay atop of platform launches and updates
Demonstrate the ability to lead by being a strong self-starter
Requires a Bachelors Degree and 3-5 years related work experience in agency or client-side social creative work
Excellent typography and visual design abilities
Quantifiable experience in social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat and Pinterest
High level of knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
Proficient in all primary social platforms
