The company is seeking a sales executive with significant leadership experience to drive sales in its flagship consumer division. This position will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales organization against key objectives, establishing sound top-to-top relationships with key customers. The geography will include the West Coast as well as Costco and Target. Key to this individual’s success will be his/her ability to develop a focused strategy based on realistic growth initiatives across multiple channels, developing channel and account strategies that will drive sustainable and profitable growth. Execution of the strategy and making appropriate course corrections, as needed, will also be important.
Attract, develop and retain a best-in-class customer-focused sales organization. Establish a consultative, strategic selling organization.
Lead, develop and motivate Western Sales Organization.
Deep knowledge and understanding of the Western consumer retail distribution channels, as well as Costco, Target, Kroger and Smart & Final.
Institutionalize changes in culture, process, external relationships and business models.
Establish strong top-to-top relationships with key customers across channels.
Create and then deliver business plans that support the achievement of key business objectives.
Deliver financial commitments which optimize short-term performance and long-term growth while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and company policies.
Appropriately allocate resources to align with market and customer strategies.
Set appropriate budget goals aligned with external marketplace and internal strategy. Enhance and ensure accuracy in financial forecasting.
Manage the day-to-day relationship with Acosta, the national brokerage firm.

Ten-plus years of sales or retail customer experience at a senior level.
Deep key account experience, ideally across multiple channels. Experience managing a highly visible account, region and product portfolio. Deep working experience with customers at a senior level.
Proven experience building best-in-class sales, marketing or retail organizations. Experience managing a broker relationship.
Proven record of driving market share gains in a competitive environment.
Experience developing go-to-market strategies for new product introductions.
Undergraduate Degree from an accredited college/university
