Atonix DigitalTM (subsidiary of Black & Veatch Holding) seeks a Graphic Designer who will become a central part of our marketing team â€“ bringing our brand to life through creative, visual and engaging content. The graphic designer combines art and technology to communicate ideas through images and layout. They have also mastered the use of typography and illustration. This person understands and practices design and composition along with color theory to effectively communicate our message to the consumer.
A key member of the Atonix DigitalTM Marketing Team, the Graphic Designer must have the ability to rapidly research, conceptualize and present designs to internal and external stakeholders to gain approval. Must be comfortable working on multi-disciplinary teams to produce cost-effective projects that exceed expectations under tight deadlines. Experience negotiating with and managing freelance web developers, photographers, illustrators and image agencies a plus.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
â€¢ Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to standardize templates and formats for assets including presentations, solution/product briefs, web banners, data sheets, white papers, customer success stories, videos, promotional emails, direct mailers, campaign templates, exhibits and promotional materials
â€¢ Manage in-house library of approved graphics, stock images and videos, and templates
â€¢ Use deep knowledge of latest graphic design trends and techniques
â€¢ Animations/motion graphics skills a big plus
â€¢ Education: Bachelorâ€™s degree in related field required, or equivalent experience
â€¢ Experience: 3-5 yearsâ€™ experience in a creative or graphic design role

Preferred Job Qualifications:
â€¢ Previous experience working for a face-paced software organization
â€¢ Proficient in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite required (Adobe After Effects experience a plus)
â€¢ Effectively create layouts exhibiting strong use of color and imagery that uphold our brand guidelines.
â€¢ Able to take design direction and positively respond to feedback
â€¢ Self-disciplined and motivated with strong attention to detail
â€¢ The ability to manage a high-volume work load in a fast-paced environment
â€¢ Maintain database of images, graphics and marketing material templates (including source files and versioning control of public facing marketing collateral)
â€¢ Previous experience working for a face paced software organization
â€¢ Builds relationships; has the appropriate diplomatic skills to work across a matrixed-organization and is able to work collaboratively with cross functional teams across Atonix DigitalTM
â€¢ Demonstrates interpersonal savvy; relates comfortably with others and is attentive to othersâ€™ perspectives.
â€¢ Proven track record in designing visual treatments to complex or challenging concepts and stories
