As the Front-end Simulation CAD Manager for Micron’s Non-Volatile Memory Group, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our entire front-end design experience. You will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with CAD and design engineers across several design sites.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Managing the global NAND CAD Simulation team.
Maintaining and developing our global simulation environment, flows, and methodologies (Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal) in response to quickly changing design requirements.
Supporting, testing, evaluating, recommend Simulation and waveform tools (for example, HSPICE, CustomSim XA, VCS, Xcelium, etc.)
Supporting and developing reliability/ERC tools and flows, such as MOS-RA and EMIR solutions.
Supporting and developing customizations in analysis and waveform environments.
Serving as an authority on Schematic Entry environment and customizing the designer experience, and providing automation for improving productivity.
Actively seeking to improve our simulation coverage
Successful candidates for this position will have:
Bachelors of Science (MS is a plus) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
10 years of hands on CAD experience, in the field of NAND memories is a plus
Extensive hands on experience in Analog, Digital and Mixed-Signal simulation tools and methodologies for NAND/Non-Volatile Memories.
Deep knowledge of CAD design flows
Strong leadership/management experience in a cross-functional environment
Analog (spice and fast-spice) and Digital (Verilog) design experience (memory design is a plus).
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent communications and presentation skills
Programming experience (Python, Perl, Skill, scripting)
