Computer Aided Design Jobs
CAD job openings consist of various positions such as CAD designer, CAD draftsman, CAD programmer engineer, CAD software developer, CAD tech and Architectural CAD.
A CAD designer analyses, prepares and develops new product designs using different computer aided design techniques. A CAD draftsman provides computer generated erection drawings and shop drawings. A CAD programmer engineer performs programming in Visual Basic to integrate AutoCAD and other database and office applications and creates design automation software for AutoCAD and migration or validation of S5 to S6. A CAD software developer performs debugging and deploying software systems A CAD software developer should be well conversant with C#, VB.Net, ADO.Net and .Net Framework. XML, HTML and CSS. ASP.Net development, UML and VSS or Source Control. A CAD tech professional prepares database records, microfiche and electronic files and material order forms, maps, drawings and designs, as-build record drawings and digital redlines using CAD and uses 2D design known as surface modeling and 3D design called solid modeling.
An architectural CAD professional is responsible for design development and production of work drawings as well as multi disciplined architectural design work which includes engineering and interior design coordination.
