CAD Manager Jobs
A CAD manager establishes structures, policies and procedures for the CAD department. A CAD manager develops projects schedules and ensures their timely implementation and completion. A CAD manager is responsible for verification and reviewing of drawings in various design modeling software formats. A CAD manager should be very apt in creating detailed drawings in AutoCAD and AutoPlant as well as other design modeling software formats. A CAD manager works in coordination with the software development department for internal development of downloadable software. A CAD manager should possess sound project management skills and is responsible for project material handling taking into consideration the project cost control and should ensure the project’s compliance with the given policies and procedures.
A CAD manager should possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering along with a degree or diploma in drafting technology. A CAD manager should be proficient with AutoCAD and 3D solid modeling. He should possess excellent communication skills with experience in mechanical engineering design. This job also requires some amount of travel along with flexible working hours.
