CAD Designer Jobs
A CAD designer is responsible for analyzing, preparing and developing new product designs using different computer aided design techniques keeping in account the cost of material and production. A CAD designer works in coordination with the design manager to create new design prints and with the QA on quality problems of the designs. It is the responsibility of a CAD designer to plan, develop and implement artwork needed for product design such as graphics, prints, stripes, screens and logos. A CAD designer should stay updated on current as well as new and developing art and trend so as to produce a variety of art concepts. A CAD designer should be skilled at understanding and evaluating drawings, blueprints and schematics. A CAD designer should maintain and update a CAD library in compliance with the document control procedures. A CAD designer should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the job requires coordination with customers as well as vendors.
A CAD designer should possess a bachelor’s degree in Design, Industrial Design or Engineering with a sound knowledge of all software and design tools. He should have the ability to work with dual teams of CAD as well as design.
