CAD Analyst Jobs

A CAD analyst develops CAD system documentation and manuals. A CAD analyst works with the IT staff to maintain system and database reliability and integrity. A CAD analyst is responsible for problem identification ,software troubleshooting as well as maintenance and up gradation of software, develop and implement applications and tools in order to enhance the quality and working of Auto Cad software and hardware and to analyze and develop computer aided drafting and design system and test and evaluate new software and hardware. A CAD analyst uses CAD to create new drawings including civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings. A CAD analyst should be thorough with computer programming principles, techniques and procedures for technical applications including relational database design and management and methods and procedures for integration of large relational data base applications such as Oracle with CAD/GIS application software; standard programming languages and utilities applicable to areas of responsibility, including Visual Basic, SQL, Lisp and script routines.
A CAD analyst should be able to interpret complex data, information and documents using mathematical reasoning. A CAD analyst should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Geo-Science with experience of AutoCAD application analysis, design and programming.
