Auto CAD Drafting Jobs

An AutoCAD drafting professional interprets data and information for designing construction plans and maps. An AutoCAD drafting professional should have the ability to manage computer file systems. An AutoCAD drafting professional should be apt to understand file interrelationship and customize data with individual files. An AutoCAD drafting professional should be skilled to extract specific and required information from the data given in written matter and transfer it into numerical, sketched or electronic format from sources as legal property descriptions, survey notes and manuals and specifications. An AutoCAD drafting professional should be skilled at understanding the terminology and symbols employed in survey notes, plans, shop drawings, aerial photos, computer files and maps.

An AutoCAD drafting professional should possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with degree or diploma in CAD drafting and technology. An AutoCAD drafting professional should possess thorough knowledge of computer drafting techniques and the ability to visualize and illustrate design in two or three dimensions.
