Radical Entertainment Cuts 100 Video Game Jobs by Employment Crossing
Radical Entertainment, a video game company in Vancouver, Canada, announced that it will lay off 100 workers.
Radical spokeswoman Leah Rubin said that Activision Blizzard plans to reduce the number of titles that Radical produces by half. Last month’s merger and ownership change between Radical and Activision, now known as Activision Blizzard, are now being felt through job cuts. Radical’s remaining teams will produce the latest Crash Bandicoot title and new action game Prototype. Prototype is scheduled to have a 2009 release date.
